About us
Studio Vernacular is an architectural practice working from Greater Manchester in the North West, England. Founders Rob + Ollie met at Univeristy in 2017 and have since gone on to develop a varied portfolio of workacross the UK ranging from; one-off contempory homes, newbuild housing developments, city-centre high rise developments and listed building renovations.
Studio Vernacular brings together our passions for the history of buildings, the celebration of traditional construction methods + architectural context - typically through the smaller scales of project from new-build dwellings to home extentions and interior renovations.
How we work
Our approach to design is one which prioritises functional and effective architecture - considering a sites phyisical surroundings, as well as the people who will inhabit them. Every project begins with understanding you (the client), finding out about your vision, lifestyle, budget and more. The end goal is always to create environments that enhance the way people live, work, and interact.
